My name is Marisa, and I am an intern here at The Hip Event! This is my first internship, so I was very nervous at first. However, the staff & other interns welcomed me with open arms and help me whenever I have a question!
One perk about interning here is that the other interns here are a great group of girls, and we always help each other out no matter what! Even if we have a lot to do that day there is always room to help out another co-worker or intern! It’s great when you can call your co-workers your girlfriends!
My advice for this week is about confidence. One thing I learned here at The Hip Event is to be confident with no matter what you do! I remember the first week I was so nervous writing my first blog, or coming up with trendy social media for various clients. However, if you’re nervous to try something new or not confident with your work, it won’t come out as good as it can! Always be confident, and never be nervous to ask your co-workers for help.
Be confident & believe in yourself. You might surprise yourself! Check back next week for another helpful HIP TIP! Thanks for reading everyone!
