The Montclair Art Museum hosts their “Hidden Treasures Wine Bar”

The Montclair Art Museum hosted the “Hidden Treasures Wine Bar” on Friday, June 8.  Taking place on a lovely night on the front lawn of the museum,  this highly successful friend/fundraiser for the museum included an awards ceremony, a wine tasting, food, entertainment, and a silent auction.  During the evening, the Hidden Treasure Awards were presented to individuals who have contributed their creative spirit to the Montclair community. This year’s recipients were John Downing, Scott Kevelson, Jane Carr, Ph.D., and Dolly Rosen.

As guests arrived, they were greeted with a variety of fine wine courtesy of Amanti Vino, food prepared by Bona Vita Osteria and Pizza Vita, music from the Eugene Chrysler Rockabilly Band and the chance to bid on silent auction items.  Attendees were invited to continue into the Museum to take a last look at Look Now: Modern and Contemporary Art from Private Collections.  Drawn from local private collections, the exhibition offers a rare opportunity to view works that are seldom exhibited in public.  Look Now will be on display at the Montclair Art Museum through Sunday, June 17.
